Student of the Year

Our very own awards. . .

Our annual wards day is the highlight of the JtDⓈ calendar. Held every year since 2007, it has become a ‘don’t  miss’ fixture for parents and students alike. We use a local theatre, the Elgiva - which gives the day a real sense of occasion. It is based on the regular awards that are regularly on TV, with performances from students and tutors. There are genuine awards given out in categories ranging from Most Improved, Best Newcomer, Best Exam Result, Best Excuse, to the ultimate accolade Student Of the Year. The performances are all filmed and edited by a camera crew used to working on high profile TV shows ( Strictly, the Olympics,  the World Cup - to name but a few) . Previous winners have gone on to have careers in  music and the arts, and even teach here at JtDⓈ!
